Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Vilhelm Groth could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in August this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work Scenery from Martofte with a small forest lake changed hands for DKK 2,200.00 (€ 295.12) - just shy of the DKK 3,000.00 estimate. Admittedly, works by Vilhelm Groth have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A summerday on Fænø with children playing by the sea in March this year with an auction result of DKK 11,000.00 (€ 1,476.18).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Vilhelm Groth konnte im August diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vilhelm Groth auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A summerday on Fænø with children playing by the sea im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 11.000,00 (€ 1.476,18).
