A top price for Vijay Shinde
In May 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction The Indian Sale, which included this untitled work by Vijay Shinde. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,400.00 (€ 12,361.17), 20% above the upper estimate. With this result, this work without title is even the most expensive work of art by Vijay Shinde that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Indian Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Vijay Shinde zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.400,00 (€ 12.361,17) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist dieses Werk ohne Titel sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Vijay Shinde, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
