Auction result fails to reach estimate
In August this year a collector was able to acquire the work Landscape with mountains and a lake by Victor Rolyat for DKK 850.00 (€ 114.02). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 3,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Rolyat achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sailing On A Scottish Loch in March 2005 with an auction result of GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,485.52).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im August diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Landscape with mountains and a lake von Victor Rolyat für DKK 850,00 (€ 114,02) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor Rolyat erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sailing On A Scottish Loch im März 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.020,00 (€ 1.485,52).
