In May 2007 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Master Pictures, which included the work A peasants' dance in an inn by Victor Mahu. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 19,200.00 28% above the upper estimate. Other works by Victor Mahu have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 37,500.00 in November 2021 for the work Interieur mit einem Alchemisten und seinen Mitarbeitern.

Im Mai 2007 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Master Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit A peasants' dance in an inn von Victor Mahu zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 19.200,00 und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Victor Mahu haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 37.500,00 im November 2021 für die Arbeit Interieur mit einem Alchemisten und seinen Mitarbeitern beobachtet.
