Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Caccia Al Leone by Victor Adam was sold in the ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO auction at Christies in Rome in November 2004. The price achieved of EUR 1,860.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Victor Adam - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work An Arabic scout, which sold at auction in January 2007 for EUR 7,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Caccia Al Leone von Victor Adam wurde im November 2004 in der Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO bei Christies in Rom versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.860,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Victor Adam mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit An Arabic scout beobachtet, die im Januar 2007 für EUR 7.200,00 versteigert wurde.
