Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Winter road, Stockholm. by Victor Forssell was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2021, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 12,000.00 (€ 1,170.52). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Forssell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Från Stigbergsgatan, Stockholm" in November 2009 with an auction result of SEK 145,000.00 (€ 13,828.86).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Winter road, Stockholm. von Victor Forssell im Dezember 2021 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 12.000,00 (€ 1.170,52) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor Forssell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Från Stigbergsgatan, Stockholm" im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 145.000,00 (€ 13.828,86).
