Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Kvastmakarebacken" by Victor Forssell was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2021, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 15,000.00 (€ 1,463.16). Admittedly, works by Victor Forssell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Från Stigbergsgatan, Stockholm" in November 2009 with an auction result of SEK 145,000.00 (€ 13,828.86).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Kvastmakarebacken" von Victor Forssell im Dezember 2021 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 15.000,00 (€ 1.463,16) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Victor Forssell auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Från Stigbergsgatan, Stockholm" im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 145.000,00 (€ 13.828,86).
