Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Along the stream in summer by Victor Bauffe was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2005. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 720.00. Admittedly, works by Victor Bauffe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A still life with roses in July 2000 with an auction result of NLG 12,872.20 (€ 5,658.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Along the stream in summer von Victor Bauffe kam im September 2005 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 720,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Victor Bauffe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A still life with roses im Juli 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 12.872,20 (€ 5.658,16).
