Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A boy, in red-piped blue uniform, gold embroidered red collar, gold epaulette and anguillette by Vicente Lopez y Portaña was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2007. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 812.50 (€ 1,137.71). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vicente Lopez y Portaña achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Portrait of a Gentleman in June 2003 with an auction result of GBP 29,875.00 (€ 42,932.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A boy, in red-piped blue uniform, gold embroidered red collar, gold epaulette and anguillette von Vicente Lopez y Portaña kam im November 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 812,50 (€ 1.137,71) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vicente Lopez y Portaña erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Portrait of a Gentleman im Juni 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 29.875,00 (€ 42.932,00).
