Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Spanish her Best Hand by Vicente García de Paredes for USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,071.00). This price was achieved in the auction Fine Old Master & 19th Century European Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Vicente García de Paredes have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Square Near The Stock Exchange, Paris in December 2003 with an auction result of GBP 13,145.00 (€ 18,618.17).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Spanish her Best Hand von Vicente García de Paredes für USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.071,00) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Fine Old Master & 19th Century European Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vicente García de Paredes auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Square Near The Stock Exchange, Paris im Dezember 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.145,00 (€ 18.618,17).
