Auction result fails to reach estimate
In April this year a collector was able to acquire the work “Heste i blå nat” (Horses in the blue night), 1970 by Vibeke Alfelt for DKK 4,200.00 (€ 563.42). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 5,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vibeke Alfelt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work “Diamantnatten” in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 9,500.00 (€ 8,302.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im April diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “Heste i blå nat” (Horses in the blue night), 1970 von Vibeke Alfelt für DKK 4.200,00 (€ 563,42) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vibeke Alfelt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit “Diamantnatten” im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 9.500,00 (€ 8.302,74).
