In July 2006 Christies in New York held the auction The House Sale, which included the work Wasp Killer by Vernon Fisher. The »bidding war« ended at USD 3,840.00 (€ 3,008.46), 28% above the upper estimate. Other works by Vernon Fisher have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 3,825.00 (€ 3,630.07) in April last year for the work Globe and figure with parachute.
