In the The Greek Sale auction, the work Costumes pour l'opera 'Kassiani' de Georges Sklavos sold for EUR 7,650.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vassilis Fotopoulos - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cinq maquettes de costumes de théâtre 76 x 58cm (29 15/16 x 22 13/16 in).(chacune), which sold at auction in November this year for EUR 19,200.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Vassilis Fotopoulos erzielte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Greek Sale wurde die Arbeit Costumes pour l'opera 'Kassiani' de Georges Sklavos für EUR 7.650,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00.
