The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,160.00 (€ 3,178.59) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Vassilios Ithakissios have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2013 the work Olymp was auctioned for EUR 4,750.00.
