Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Chermouth Beach I by Vanessa Gardiner for GBP 125.00 (€ 151.13). This price was achieved in the auction The Sunday Sale - The Property of the late Dr Henry Ginsburg at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 200.00 – 400.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vanessa Gardiner - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled - Boscastle coast, Cornwall, which sold at auction in November 2008 for GBP 375.00 (€ 453.40).
