Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Siblings by Valentine Thomas Garland was sold in the Sporting & Wildlife Art auction at Christies in London in July 2014. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,306.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Valentine Thomas Garland - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Drink Puppy, Drink!, which sold at auction in June 2007 for USD 26,400.00 (€ 19,526.63).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.306,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden.
