Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Moonlit walk on Skagen. by Valdemar Nyström was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 10,000.00 – 12,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 8,000.00 (€ 903.40). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Valdemar Nyström achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Summer Landscape with poppies, scene from Grez in December 2013 with an auction result of SEK 320,000.00 (€ 36,136.15).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Moonlit walk on Skagen. von Valdemar Nyström im Dezember 2013 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 10.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 8.000,00 (€ 903,40) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Valdemar Nyström erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Summer Landscape with poppies, scene from Grez im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 320.000,00 (€ 36.136,15).
