This artwork by Vagrich Bakhchanyan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2016. In the Including the Bar-Gera Collection of Soviet Non-Conformist Art auction, the work Do Not Touch The Instrument sold for GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,834.68) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vagrich Bakhchanyan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Stalin Test, which sold at auction in February 2007 for GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,894.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Vagrich Bakhchanyan erzielte im November 2016 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Including the Bar-Gera Collection of Soviet Non-Conformist Art wurde die Arbeit Do Not Touch The Instrument für GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.834,68) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Vagrich Bakhchanyan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Stalin Test beobachtet, die im Februar 2007 für GBP 6.000,00 (€ 8.894,78) versteigert wurde.
