The result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 35,074.68) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vaclav Brozïk - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ottokar's farewell, which sold at auction in December 2010 for SEK 1,000,000.00 (€ 111,462.81).
