Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans Titre by Václav Boštík was sold in the Art Contemporain - Vente du Jour auction at Christies in Paris in December 2017. The price achieved of EUR 8,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Václav Boštík achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans titre in December 2020 with an auction result of EUR 150,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans Titre von Václav Boštík wurde im Dezember 2017 in der Auktion Art Contemporain - Vente du Jour bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 8.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Václav Boštík erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sans titre im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 150.000,00.
