Fuji from a mountain road; No. 9, Hiratsuka, crossing the Banyūgawa; No. 33, Hino'oka, two leagues from Futagawa; No. 40, Akasaka on the Nawate road; all signed Hiroshige hitsu, Nos. 1, 2, and 3 signed Hiroshige ga, Nos. 7, 9, 33, and 40 signed Hiroshige hitsu, all published by perhaps Yamasei or Yamakiyo (7)

Auction result well in line with expectations
In March this year Bonhams held the auction Fine Japanese and Korean Works of Art, which included the work A Group Of Seven Prints From The Series Tōkai Meisho Kaisei Dōchūki by Utagawa Hiroshige III. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,147.50 (€ 1,055.46) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Utagawa Hiroshige III have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Scenes of Tokyo and views of Mount Fuji in December 2021 with an auction result of GBP 5,670.00 (€ 6,763.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Fine Japanese and Korean Works of Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Group Of Seven Prints From The Series Tōkai Meisho Kaisei Dōchūki von Utagawa Hiroshige III zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.147,50 (€ 1.055,46) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Utagawa Hiroshige III auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Scenes of Tokyo and views of Mount Fuji im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.670,00 (€ 6.763,12).
