In December 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Aboriginal Art, which included the work Untitled (Two Boys' Dreaming - Boys; Hairpiece Dreaming) by Uta Uta Tjangala. The auction ended at the price of USD 50,000.00 (€ 44,535.49), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Other works by Uta Uta Tjangala have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2019 the work Untitled (Ceremony - Large Twin Ceremonial Occasion) was auctioned for USD 68,750.00 (€ 61,236.31).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Dezember 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Aboriginal Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Two Boys' Dreaming - Boys; Hairpiece Dreaming) von Uta Uta Tjangala zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 44.535,49) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Uta Uta Tjangala konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2019 die Arbeit Untitled (Ceremony - Large Twin Ceremonial Occasion) für USD 68.750,00 (€ 61.236,31) versteigert.
