Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2014 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Young clowns by Ursula Vivian McCannell. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,605.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ursula Vivian McCannell - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Waiting, which sold at auction in November 2006 for GBP 3,600.00 (€ 5,346.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Young clowns von Ursula Vivian McCannell zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.605,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Ursula Vivian McCannell mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Waiting beobachtet, die im November 2006 für GBP 3.600,00 (€ 5.346,11) versteigert wurde.
