Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2013 Sothebys in New York held the auction Israeli & International Art, which included the work Untitled (From The Schizophrenic Series) by Uri Lifshitz. The price achieved of USD 4,688.00 (€ 3,402.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Uri Lifshitz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Knight And The Dragon, which sold at auction in November 2009 for USD 20,000.00 (€ 13,338.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2013 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Israeli & International Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (From The Schizophrenic Series) von Uri Lifshitz zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.688,00 (€ 3.402,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Uri Lifshitz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Knight And The Dragon beobachtet, die im November 2009 für USD 20.000,00 (€ 13.338,67) versteigert wurde.
