A top price for Umit Zeytincioglu - as previously expected
The work Eccedentesiast, 2015 by Umit Zeytincioglu was auctioned at Christies in New York in November this year. The price achieved of GBP 126.00 (€ 146.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 100.00 – 200.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Eccedentesiast, 2015 is the most expensive artwork by Umit Zeytincioglu that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Eccedentesiast, 2015 von Umit Zeytincioglu kam im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 126,00 (€ 146,01) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 100,00 – 200,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Eccedentesiast, 2015 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Umit Zeytincioglu, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
