Auction result misses estimated price range
In November this year a collector was able to acquire the work Apocryphal, 2014 by Umit Zeytincioglu for GBP 63.00 (€ 73.00). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's London Staff Auction at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of GBP 100.00 – 200.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Umit Zeytincioglu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Eccedentesiast, 2015, which sold at auction in November this year for GBP 126.00 (€ 146.01).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Apocryphal, 2014 von Umit Zeytincioglu für GBP 63,00 (€ 73,00) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's London Staff Auction bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 100,00 – 200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Umit Zeytincioglu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Eccedentesiast, 2015 beobachtet, die im November diesen Jahres für GBP 126,00 (€ 146,01) versteigert wurde.
