Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2017 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work Seven Pillars of Abstraction by Umi Dachlan. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,074.89) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Other works by Umi Dachlan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2019 the work Perahu (Boats) was auctioned for HKD 112,500.00 (€ 12,875.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2017 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Seven Pillars of Abstraction von Umi Dachlan zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.074,89) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Umi Dachlan konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2019 die Arbeit Perahu (Boats) für HKD 112.500,00 (€ 12.875,59) versteigert.
