Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Senza titolo by Umberto Milani was auctioned at Christies in Milan in May 2000. The price achieved of ITL 7,050,000.00 (€ 6,046.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as ITL 6,000,000.00 – 8,000,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Umberto Milani - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vibrazione Rosea, which sold at auction in November 2007 for EUR 12,250.00.

Die Arbeit Senza titolo von Umberto Milani kam im Mai 2000 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von ITL 7.050.000,00 (€ 6.046,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit ITL 6.000.000,00 – 8.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Umberto Milani mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vibrazione Rosea beobachtet, die im November 2007 für EUR 12.250,00 versteigert wurde.
