Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ulrich Strothjohann could be acquired at Sothebys in London in November 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Online | London auction, the work Trolley'S Life (Porter) changed hands for GBP 62.00 (€ 72.80) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ulrich Strothjohann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Reenactment Spielautomat, which sold at auction in July 2018 for GBP 250.00 (€ 280.30).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ulrich Strothjohann konnte im November 2019 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Online | London wechselte die Arbeit Trolley'S Life (Porter) für GBP 62,00 (€ 72,80) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ulrich Strothjohann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Reenactment Spielautomat beobachtet, die im Juli 2018 für GBP 250,00 (€ 280,30) versteigert wurde.
