This artwork by Ulrich Rückriem achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2018. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, the work Schiefer (Slate) sold for EUR 13,750.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ulrich Rückriem achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Sleeping Giants in September 2015 with an auction result of USD 185,000.00 (€ 165,740.91).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 96 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ulrich Rückriem erzielte im April 2018 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Schiefer (Slate) für EUR 13.750,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ulrich Rückriem erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Sleeping Giants im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 185.000,00 (€ 165.740,91).
