Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included the work Italian Reclining Nude by Ugo Mazzolari. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,375.00 (€ 4,301.91) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ugo Mazzolari - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lago Ai Piedi Dello Jungfrau, which sold at auction in June 2008 for EUR 9,375.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Italian Reclining Nude von Ugo Mazzolari zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.375,00 (€ 4.301,91) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Ugo Mazzolari mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lago Ai Piedi Dello Jungfrau beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für EUR 9.375,00 versteigert wurde.
