Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sotto la pioggia by Ugo Manaresi was auctioned at Christies in Rome in December 2001. The price achieved of ITL 9,187,500.00 (€ 8,257.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as ITL 8,000,000.00 – 12,000,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ugo Manaresi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Livorno, trasporto sul canale, 1883 in December 2003 with an auction result of EUR 44,640.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sotto la pioggia von Ugo Manaresi kam im Dezember 2001 bei Christies in Rom zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von ITL 9.187.500,00 (€ 8.257,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit ITL 8.000.000,00 – 12.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ugo Manaresi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Livorno, trasporto sul canale, 1883 im Dezember 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 44.640,00.
