Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (Tree and staircase) by Ugo di Martino for USD 625.00 (€ 467.85). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Ugo di Martino have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in February 2012 by the work Untitled (pine cone) at USD 750.00 (€ 561.42).
