Despite a disappointment, a good price for Ugo di Martino
This work of art by Ugo di Martino could be acquired at Christies in New York in February 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Untitled (pine cone) changed hands for USD 750.00 (€ 561.42) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Despite this disappointing result, Untitled (pine cone) is the most expensive artwork by Ugo di Martino that we have observed at auction so far.
