Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Nudo di schiena by Ugo Attardi was auctioned at Christies in Milan in November 2003, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 3,500.00 – 5,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 2,976.00. Admittedly, works by Ugo Attardi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dalla via Paola in May 2008 with an auction result of EUR 12,170.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Nudo di schiena von Ugo Attardi im November 2003 bei Christies in Mailand versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.500,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 2.976,00 den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ugo Attardi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dalla via Paola im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.170,00.
