In January 2013 Christies in New York held the auction Old Master & Early British Drawings & Watercolors Including an Important Canadian Collection and a Distinguished Private Collection, which included the work The Sacrifice Of Isaac by Ubaldo Gandolfi. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A sleeping legionary in a helmet in July 2010 with an auction result of GBP 373,250.00 (€ 448,791.07).

Im Januar 2013 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Old Master & Early British Drawings & Watercolors Including an Important Canadian Collection and a Distinguished Private Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Sacrifice Of Isaac von Ubaldo Gandolfi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 21.250,00 (€ 15.643,40) und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ubaldo Gandolfi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A sleeping legionary in a helmet im Juli 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 373.250,00 (€ 448.791,07).
