Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Study of a man with a stick by Ubaldo Gandolfi for EUR 2,000.00. This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Drawings and Engravings at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 2,200.00 – 2,400.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ubaldo Gandolfi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A sleeping legionary in a helmet in July 2010 with an auction result of GBP 373,250.00 (€ 448,791.07).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Study of a man with a stick von Ubaldo Gandolfi für EUR 2.000,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master Drawings and Engravings bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.200,00 – 2.400,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ubaldo Gandolfi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A sleeping legionary in a helmet im Juli 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 373.250,00 (€ 448.791,07).
