Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2018 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art, which included the work The Great Shwedagon by U San Win. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 350,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 400,000.00 (€ 42,206.39). Other works by U San Win have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 42,225.56) in October 2018 for the work Pagoda Festival.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2018 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Great Shwedagon von U San Win zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 350.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 400.000,00 (€ 42.206,39) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von U San Win haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 42.225,56) im Oktober 2018 für die Arbeit Pagoda Festival beobachtet.
