Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2019 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art, which included the work Gateway To Mandalay by U San Win. The price achieved of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 25,611.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 180,000.00 – 250,000.00. Other works by U San Win have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2018 the work Pagoda Festival was auctioned for HKD 375,000.00 (€ 42,225.56).

Im April 2019 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gateway To Mandalay von U San Win zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 25.611,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 180.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von U San Win konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2018 die Arbeit Pagoda Festival für HKD 375.000,00 (€ 42.225,56) versteigert.
