The work Shwedagon by U San Win was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2018. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 275,000.00 (€ 29,016.90), 25% above the upper estimate. Other works by U San Win have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 42,225.56) in October 2018 for the work Pagoda Festival.

Die Arbeit Shwedagon von U San Win wurde im April 2018 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 29.016,90) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von U San Win haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 42.225,56) im Oktober 2018 für die Arbeit Pagoda Festival beobachtet.
