Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Dancing Star Ghost by Twins Seven-Seven was sold in the Modern & Contemporary African Art | and CCA Lagos Benefit Auction auction at Sothebys in London in March last year. The price achieved of GBP 3,528.00 (€ 4,182.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by Twins Seven-Seven have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March last year the work The Ram Masquerade was auctioned for GBP 5,670.00 (€ 6,722.42).
