In May 2012 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, which included the work Volo Futurista by Tullio Crali. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 43,950.00 47% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tullio Crali - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Illusione aerea, which sold at auction in April last year for GBP 98,580.00 (€ 117,553.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 47 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2012 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea durch, in der auch die Arbeit Volo Futurista von Tullio Crali zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 43.950,00 und damit 47% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Tullio Crali mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Illusione aerea beobachtet, die im April letzten Jahres für GBP 98.580,00 (€ 117.553,17) versteigert wurde.
