Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Ushigome Kagurazaka (Ushigome Kagurazaka), 1939.9 Haru no yuki Kyoto Maruyama (Spring snow at Maruyama, Kyoto), 1936.3 Ueno koen (Ueno Park), 1939.4 Akashi no hama (Akashi Beach), 1934 Nara Horyuji (Horyuji Temple, Nara), 1938.6 Mount Fuji from Lak by Tsuchiya Koitsu for USD 1,500.00 (€ 1,054.93). This price was achieved in the auction Japanese and Korean Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD Admittedly, works by Tsuchiya Koitsu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Unknown in September last year with an auction result of USD 6,375.00 (€ 6,516.41).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Ushigome Kagurazaka (Ushigome Kagurazaka), 1939.9 Haru no yuki Kyoto Maruyama (Spring snow at Maruyama, Kyoto), 1936.3 Ueno koen (Ueno Park), 1939.4 Akashi no hama (Akashi Beach), 1934 Nara Horyuji (Horyuji Temple, Nara), 1938.6 Mount Fuji from Lak von Tsuchiya Koitsu für USD 1.500,00 (€ 1.054,93) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Japanese and Korean Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tsuchiya Koitsu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Unknown im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.375,00 (€ 6.516,41).
