It achieved a price of GBP 646.25 (€ 1,029.47), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 29%. Admittedly, works by Tsuchiya Koitsu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Unknown in September last year with an auction result of USD 6,375.00 (€ 6,516.41).

Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tsuchiya Koitsu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Unknown im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.375,00 (€ 6.516,41).
