Auction result well in line with expectations
In March last year Artcurial held the auction African Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Sans Titre, 2009 by Tsham. The price achieved of EUR 2,624.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tsham have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans Titre, 2020 in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 19,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion African Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre, 2009 von Tsham zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.624,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tsham auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans Titre, 2020 im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 19.500,00.
