A top price for Trubus
This artwork by Trubus achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2013. In the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian auction, the work Dancer sold for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 13,048.04) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 55,000.00. This high result makes Dancer the most expensive artwork by Trubus that we have observed at auctions so far.
