Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2017 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European & Orientalist Art, which included the work Jerusalem with the Church of the Holy Sepulchre; and Jerusalem with the Dome of the Rock by Tristram Ellis. The price achieved of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,463.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tristram Ellis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Epping Forest, Walthamstow in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 18,000.00 (€ 26,711.09).

Im Juli 2017 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European & Orientalist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Jerusalem with the Church of the Holy Sepulchre; and Jerusalem with the Dome of the Rock von Tristram Ellis zur Versteigerung kam.
