This artwork by Trey Abdella achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in October 2021. In the Contemporary Art Evening Auction auction, the work Backyard BBQ sold for GBP 119,700.00 (€ 141,812.17) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Trey Abdella - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sunny Days, which sold at auction in December last year for HKD 3,024,000.00 (€ 362,382.50).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Trey Abdella erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Evening Auction wurde die Arbeit Backyard BBQ für GBP 119.700,00 (€ 141.812,17) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 60.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Trey Abdella mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sunny Days beobachtet, die im Dezember letzten Jahres für HKD 3.024.000,00 (€ 362.382,50) versteigert wurde.
