The work Frog Corroboree, 1980 by Trevor Nickolls was worth AUD 5,904.00 (€ 4,907.73) to a buyer in April 2021. This price was achieved in the auction Important Australian Art at Bonhams in Sydney / Melbourne and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of AUD 1,200.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Trevor Nickolls; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Top Hat sold at auction in July 2009 with the realized price of AUD 12,000.00 (€ 6,793.94).
