Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Pintail Drake by Trevor Boyer for GBP 384.00 (€ 570.25). This price was achieved in the auction Sporting Art, Wildlife and Dogs at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Trevor Boyer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A cool spot in June 2004 with an auction result of GBP 2,748.50 (€ 4,090.59).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Pintail Drake von Trevor Boyer für GBP 384,00 (€ 570,25) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Sporting Art, Wildlife and Dogs bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Trevor Boyer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A cool spot im Juni 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.748,50 (€ 4.090,59).
